Winter is time for styled sessions and this one was so special! We visited beautiful Cedar Pond Farms in New Market, Tennessee for our annual styled session, this time including a bride and groom with models Kelsey and Kenton! A light snow dusted the beautiful outdoor space at the farm while Christmas evergreen wreaths and decor was still to be seen on their large White Barn and Milk Barn.
Cedar Pond Farms is a premier wedding and event venue in New Market, Tennessee, near Knoxville, Morristown, Jefferson City and the Lakeway area. It has indoor and outdoor event spaces, including several archways set up for ceremonies. Featuring a lovely pond, scenic views of the mountains and great customer service, it is perfect for any bride and groom getting married in the east TN area. The larger White Barn is a beautiful reception or wedding space indoors, with chandeliers, large windows, a promenade and stairway, restrooms and catering facilities. It has enough space for tables and chairs, a buffet, dance floor and more! Cedar Pond Farms is worth a visit, contact Shawn at (865) 300-5397 for a venue tour today.
Caitlin Cate of CC Artistry set up in the indoor getting ready space in the Milk Barn, with its vanity perfect for any bride. She did a lovely braided and curled style on Kelsey and helped Kenton get the final arrangements on his hair also. Caitlin also completed a full special event style makeup look for Kelsey that turned out beautifully. CC Artistry is based in Jefferson City and serves our region with on location makeup and hair services for formal events.
Our gown was a sleeveless lace bodice and filmy skirt dress from Bridals and Beyond in Knoxville, Tennessee, a fully equipped wedding and formal wear shop run by Kevin Knights of Mobile Beats Entertainment. Their shop, located at 11509 Hardin Valley Rd in Knoxville, is a great place to stop for wedding dresses, formal wear and tuxedo and suit rental. Kevin picked out a deep blue suit with black bow tie and matching cuff links, plus brown lace up shoes for Kenton.
Flowers for this session came from Rose Moss Fleurs in Knoxville. Anna sent a stunning bouquet of white and burgundy roses, lilies and wildflowers, including some green blackberries that lent such a wild tone of interest to the bouquet and also the boutonniere for Kenton. The bridal bouquet was finished with a rustic gold ribbon that matched our cake.
Weddings aren't complete without cake! The cake was provided by Caitlin of Catie Cakes, based in Jefferson City. She brought along a magnificent gold embellished, three layer cake in modern style with a lot of texture which was dressed with flowers matching the bridal arrangements, as well as cranberries and walnuts to go with our winter theme. Check out Catie Cakes for all of your celebration needs in the Knoxville, Morristown, Jefferson City, and surrounding areas!
